Kimah led the Sharnazim, Vassagonia's most elite warriors, before ascending to the throne as Zakhan of Vassagonia in MS 5055. He reigned for six years, during which time Vassagonia served as the only major ally of the Darklords of Helgedad in their campaign to conquer central Northern Magnamund. The vile Zakhan is pictured here wearing gold-colored robes - the traditional hue of royalty in Vassagonia - and holding the Orb of Death, an evil artifact that provides immense magical powers and renders the possessor impervious to poison, disease, and harm by any normal weapons. It exacts a terrible toll on any mortal who wields it, however, and kills the unworthy. ABOUT THE ARTIST - J.E. FULLER Growing up at the feet of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York, Fuller spent much of his time drawing, reading, wandering the woods, and dueling friends with sticks. Fuller's love of old stories and Golden Age illustration has led him to work in publishing, gaming, and entertainment production.† I was introduced to Joe Dever's Lone Wolf gamebooks by my parents around 25 years ago. My friends and I read them many times over, sharing the decisions and discoveries we made along our separate paths.
